Swine Flu (H1N1) Recommendations

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and WHO have offered the following opinions on the best methods to keep healthy during these pandemic times:

• Practice good health habits including getting adequate sleep, eating properly, and keeping physically active
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• If you are sick, limit your contact with other people as much as possible
• Cover nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze, then properly wash your hands
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth to reduce the amount of germ exposure
• Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze.
• Also, alcohol-based hand cleaners are effective
